Xemplo 3.21 introduces new features designed to automate integrations with Xero and make it even easier for your whole team to manage their personal information and tasks, freeing up your admin team to focus on what matters.
Expanded Self-Service features for Workers
In our latest release (3.21), we're making it easier for Workers to view and update their information from any device. Workers in any country can now access and update their own personal, payroll and account information from the Xemplo web portal or mobile app.

Workers can now view their active credentials (credentials reviewed and approved by an authorised HR Manager) from the Xemplo web app. Workers can also track pending credentials (credentials previously submitted to HR for review), and see all outstanding credential requests.

Simpler requests and approvals for Workers and Managers
From 3.21, we've enhanced HR Time and Attendance to show when a Worker has entered leave for the same day on their timesheet. Any leave transactions for the same day (in any approval status) will show on a time entry for that day when viewed from the Xemplo web portal or the Xemplo mobile app. Same-day leave alerts will show to the Worker, their Manager or an authorised HR user.

Expanded integration with Xero for Expenses and Superannuation
Share even more information with Xero in real-time with additional options for integrating Expenses and Superannuation.
From 3.21, Xemplo will automatically update a worker's Xero pay template when their superannuation information is updated (for Australian companies only).

For all supported regions, Expenses can also be integrated to Xero, with the option to export approved expenses in bulk when a pay run is created for processing.

Pre-Employment | Onboarding | Training reminder emails were being sent to a Worker's manager when included in an Onboarding. This has been changed and reminder emails are no longer sent for training courses included in an Onboarding. |
Requests and Approvals | Expenses | Expense claims can now be exported to Xero once approved. |
Requests and Approvals | Time & Attendance | Xemplo Time and Attendance will now display a warning when a worker has a leave entry added for the same day on a timesheet. |
Worker Management | Workers | When entering a phone number for an emergency contact, the phone number is now validated for Australian companies. The provided number cannot be the same number as the worker's phone number, and the number must be a valid Australian phone number. |
Worker Management | Workers | When exporting superannuation information to Xero, where a Worker requested to join the employer's default superannuation fund, the superannuation membership was not automatically created. This has been corrected. |
Worker Management | Workers | For workers in Singapore, bank information was displayed incorrectly when viewing from the Worker's profile. This has been corrected. |
