Xemplo 3.44 introduces an important setup change for customers using Advance Pay, along with a batch of usability improvements to Engagements. This release also brings a new manager notification, clearer error messaging, and several fixes across the Worker List, Positions, Invoicing, and Onboarding.
Action Required: Advance Pay Now Needs a Pay Category
When setting up Advance Pay on a rate template or assignment, you can now specify which Pay Category the Advance Pay line should use. Previously, this was worked out automatically based on the assignment's ordinary pay rules - which could fail for assignments using shift-based rules, leaving the Advance Pay line without a pay category.
If you already use Advance Pay, we’ve automatically retained the Pay Category applied under the previous setup, so nothing will change. You can review or update the selected Pay Category from the Rate Template screen. |

A Smoother Engagements Experience
We've made a round of small usability improvements to the Engagement view: menu labels are clearer and correctly capitalised, the more-menu dropdown now aligns properly with its button, and editing an Engagement's Settings or Files now returns you to the tab you started from instead of jumping back to Assignments. We've also added confirmation prompts when deactivating an Engagement, including a clear message if it can't be deactivated due to active Assignments.
