Adding policy templates to your Document Library
To use one of the templates below, you will first need to add this template to your Document Library. Once a template has been added to your library, you'll be able to use this document when onboarding workers into specific positions.
To add a policy to your document library, follow these steps:
- Download and save a local copy of the policy document you require from the Company Settings > Documents page for a selected company in Xemplo. Documents are downloaded in MS Word format.
- On the Company Settings > Documents page for a selected company in Xemplo, select + New Document.
- Select 'Build your own' document, and add your preferred business settings. Select Save and Continue.
- The Xemplo Document Editor will open. Select Open to import the saved policy document.

Please note: You should carefully review each policy's summary and purpose before use. Some Xemplo Policy templates contains placeholder values that must be replaced with business-specific information before use. Before using a policy template, please review the policy and update any placeholder values or content to your preference. |
Summary of available policy templates
The following section provides an overview of each policy available and it's intended use. These documents are updated periodically - check the version number of the relevant policy template in your document library to determine whether you need to download a later version.
Each policy document contains merge fields which will be auto-filled by Xemplo when the policy is used. These merge fields are included below for your reference.
Used as is, the policy documents apply to any workers engaged by the company, including:
- all Company employees (whether ongoing, temporary, full-time, part-time or casual);
- any person who works for the Company under a contract, including a consultant, contractor, subcontractor, employee of a contractor or subcontractor or employee of a labour hire company who has been assigned to work at the Company; and
- apprentices, trainees, students gaining work experience and volunteers.
