From Xemplo 3.30, Xemplo has implemented a number of changes to further enhance the security of your data.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now mandatory for all users accessing Xemplo*. All users must now login with a verification code, or use the biometric ID options available on their device, to access Xemplo. Find out more about MFA here.
| * Some legacy accounts do not require MFA to access Xemplo. If you have accounts excluded from MFA requirements, your Customer Success Manager will have previously advised you of these exclusions. |
Requesting Account Activation Links
Invited users who haven’t activated their Xemplo account within the 7-day activation window can now easily request a new activation link by using the “Forgot My Password” option on the login screen.
Previously, only a Xemplo Admin could resend activation emails. To streamline new user activation and reduce friction, invited users can now request their own new activation link. When a user clicks an expired invite link, they’ll see the message “Your link has expired” and be redirected to the login screen. By following the “Forgot My Password” steps, they’ll automatically receive a new activation email in their inbox - making account activation faster and easier.
More efficient management of assignments

Managing assignments is now easier with a range of improvements introduced in Xemplo 3.30.
Improved Support for Mobile Devices
We’ve released improvements to the Assignment Specification feature. The worker experience - particularly the accept/reject workflow - has been enhanced for mobile devices, making the specification document easier to read and the action buttons better optimised for smaller screens.
Rate Template Syncing Enhancements
The Pay Schedule field has been removed from the list of fields in the Rate Template synchronisation function. This means that when a Pay Schedule is updated on an individual assignment, the sync process will not update the Pay Schedule field when run, and Administrators will not need to go through the assignments individually to set the Pay Schedules again.

All changes included in Xemplo 3.30 Release
The following list details all changes included in the 3.30 software release. Find out more about each change by selecting the link, including user impacts and configuration instructions (where applicable).
| Product | Feature | Summary |
| Analytics | Invoices | New fields for total Excluded Tax and Total Tax for an Invoice have been added to Xemplo Analytics for inclusion in Dashboards and Visualisations. |
| Analytics | Training | New fields for training course completion dates and outcomes have been added to Xemplo Analytics for inclusion in Dashboards and Visualisations. |
| Bill | Assignments | We’ve released improvements to the Assignment Specification feature. The worker experience - particularly the accept/reject workflow - has been enhanced for mobile devices, making the specification document easier to read and the action buttons better optimised for smaller screens. |
| Bill | Assignments | When an assignment end date is cleared to allow it to run indefinitely, the assignment is now automatically re-enabled, and timesheet generation is triggered by default. |
| Bill | Bullhorn Integration | In a previous release, Xemplo began automatically syncing company names from Bullhorn. When a company name is updated in Bullhorn, the change is detected during placement export and reflected in Xemplo. However, in some cases, this automatic synchronisation isn’t desired. To accommodate this, we’ve introduced an override option that can be enabled by our support team when needed. |
| Bill | Invoices | Support for multi-country agencies where the agency and host company are located in different countries has been updated. In these cases, default tax codes are now automatically set based on the agency’s tax settings rather than the host’s. This ensures tax codes remain compatible with the agency’s local requirements when invoices are generated. |
| Bill | Rate Templates | The Pay Schedule field has been removed from the list of fields in the Rate Template synchronisation function. This means that when a Pay Schedule is updated on an individual assignment, the sync process will not update the Pay Schedule field when run, and Administrators will not need to go through the assignments individually to set the Pay Schedules again. |
| Bill | On costs | Further enhancements to the Automatic Superannuation Rate feature for on-costs have been released. On-costs with the automatic rate enabled can now be referenced as variables within Advanced Formulas. |
| Employ | Workers | For companies with Billing features enabled, workers will be automatically terminated after six months with no activity (no active assignments). |
| Employ | Positions | Various minor user experience enhancements have been added for the Positions feature. |
| Onboarding | Worker Onboarding | Specific date fields displayed for workers completing Onboarding have been regionalised to display in US format for US companies. |
| Platform | User Management | Agency / EOR companies with Timesheet to Bill enabled in their company settings can now create Team Manager accounts in User Management. This will allow the creation of users with access to approve Leave and Expense requests where timesheets are not submitted by their team (typically white-collar staffing agencies). |
| Platform | Access Management | Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) has been activated for all users logging into Xemplo. |
| Platform | API Library | A new Terminate Worker API has been added to the Xemplo API Library. |
| Platform | Access Management | Invited users who haven’t activated their Xemplo account within the 7-day activation window can now easily request a new activation link by using the “Forgot My Password” option on the login screen. |
