Better management of timesheet changes to ensure data integrity
We have received a lot of feedback from clients with regards to the editing of invoices, in particular the editing of invoice lines that are generated from timesheets. At present, when editing these lines in the invoice the changes are not automatically synced back to the timesheet, resulting in a mismatch of data between the two.
In this update we are introducing a new way to edit invoice lines that come from a timesheet. Instead of updating directly in the invoice, you can now update within the timesheet and the update will automatically flow to the invoice, ensuring that the two remain in sync at all times. This editing can continue to occur up until the point of the invoice being marked as paid.
If an invoice is modified, a new alert at the top of the invoice informs you that the invoice needs to be re-emailed or re-exported in order to ensure the latest invoice version is exported to your accounting platform and is sent to your client.

In addition, if changes are made to pay rates in the timesheet summary they will automatically sync to the payroll batch, up until the point of the payroll batch being exported.
Improved controls for engagements and rate templates
Continuing on the theme of improving data integrity we are introducing controls around the editing of engagements and rate templates, specifically in relation to the companies that are defined within each. At present, we allow the editing of these companies within engagements and rate templates at all times. This flexibility often leads to problems, with relationships between EOR companies and workers breaking down. In this update we are introducing a lock that prevents these companies from being edited once the engagement has active assignments or the rate template has been assigned to assignments.

While this is only a subtle update we believe it will eliminate a lot of scenarios where these companies are updated, usually accidentally, and subsequent problems are created.
Easier selection of public holiday calendars
We often get feedback from our Australia-based clients that the management of public holiday states is a bit cumbersome. Set at the individual assignment level, users currently have to select a specific state to use for that worker. With workers typically located in the same state as the agency or host company, we are introducing an easy way to use either of these states instead of having to nominate a specific state:

Enhanced user experience: Evolving Xemplo's interface for seamless interaction
As part of our ongoing enhancements, the rollout of our re-designed screens across the Xemplo platform continues. Within this update, we are introducing a new iteration of our company creation and settings screens. Specifically tailored for Time-to-bill users, this update encompasses a refined interface for managing your agency entity and host clients, streamlining the process for optimal efficiency.
For both agency and host companies you will notice that the single Timesheets menu item has been broken down into individual settings pages, each one focused on a key area.

For host companies you will also notice a reduced number of settings as we are removing any redundant pages for this company type. This makes the process of access host settings faster, pointing you to the relevant page without having to click through multiple screens
