We are very excited to announce the release of the innovative new Xemplo Contract Builder. Xemplo's Contract Builder revolutionises the way that employment contracts are created, reviewed and updated.
Impacts to existing customers
For existing Xemplo customers, any contracts added or created with earlier versions of Xemplo will still be available as usual, with some small changes to how these are accessed and displayed in the library. We've included a summary of the key changes below.
Key Changes
- The new Contract Builder comes with a new look. All contracts will be available in the new contract library under Settings > Contracts.
- There will be a new 3-step process to guide customers to the correct contract when previewing Xemplo contracts. This will replace the contracts that were previously available in Marketplace.
- Any existing contracts that have come from Xemplo will be migrated to custom contracts. Xemplo will be phasing out previous versions of Xemplo contracts in favour of the new ones and will not be maintaining old contracts from a compliance perspective. In order to take advantage of the free, compliant contracts Xemplo has to offer, please use the new Contract Builder.
Key Benefits
Library of Conditions
The new Contract Builder provides a bank of more than 40 legally compliant contract conditions, terms and warranties (together these are known as clauses) which customers can use to build out the contracts they need. Several clauses also contain alternative versions for customers to choose between when configuring their contracts. This new library and the configurability within clauses is far more extensive than Xemplo has provided in the past.
Save Your Own Company Templates
Using the new Contract Builder, Customer Admins can build out a library of company contracts with pre-defined conditions and drastically reduce the number of questions HR managers need to answer when they initiate an onboarding. The base contracts mean that customers are never starting from scratch.
The easy-to-use user interface and library of conditions means that customising the template is a matter of re-ordering via drag and drop and toggling on or off conditions depending on the position. Within a few hours customers can create the contracts they need for onboarding without waiting for support from the Customer Success Team.
Customise further
If you would like to change the way a clause is included in your contract, or allow users to vary a clause during onboarding (for example, set that the option to work from home applies to some contracts but not others), you can use the Contract Builder's "Variant" feature to select any options that apply and even provide your own. That way, you can create a single contract that covers a variety of conditional employment scenarios.
Compliance
For any clauses that are provided by Xemplo, our employment law professionals will ensure these clauses stay compliant, even as laws change. If customers add their own variants to an Xemplo clause we will also make sure that customers are advised of any legal changes to the related clause over time. This is not possible with contracts created using earlier versions of Xemplo's Contract Builder, or your own static PDF contract documents.
