Xemplo operates as a single environment - the system you use for testing and configuration during implementation is the same system you will go live in. There is no separate test or sandbox environment.
This is worth knowing early, because it shapes how we recommend you approach your pre-Go Live testing.

How We Can Help
We know that testing means creating records you won't need once you go live - dummy employees, test pay runs, placeholder details. We're happy to assist you clean these up before your Go Live date, as a one-time service.
To be eligible for deletion assistance, the data must:
- Have been added during your implementation and testing phase
- Have been added specifically to test system features or configuration
- Be requested for deletion before your agreed Go Live date
- Be clearly identifiable by you as test data

The deletion assistance we provide covers data entered during implementation and testing - not data entered in preparation for Go Live (such as bulk-importing your full workforce). If you're ready to load real worker data, coordinate with your implementation contact so that happens at the right stage.
If you're unsure whether something counts as test data or Go Live data, reach out to your Customer Support contact before adding it - it's much easier to plan this in advance.
This is a one-time service
Our pre-Go Live cleanup assistance is provided once, prior to your Go Live date. Once you have gone live, all data in the system is treated as live production data and is managed by your team going forward.
After Go Live
Once live, any data management - including correcting or removing records - becomes your team's responsibility within the platform, supported by standard Customer Support where applicable.
How to Request Cleanup
When you're ready to request removal of test data before your Go Live date:
- Contact the Customer Support team via support@xemplo.comÂ
- Provide a clear list or description of the test data to be removed
- Confirm the data was entered during the implementation and testing phase
- Ensure the request is submitted before your Go Live date
We'll confirm your request, complete the cleanup, and let you know when it's done.
