Email Templates define the content of notifications or announcements sent as an email or SMS to workers or managers.
These email templates have default contents that you can edit in Xemplo.
There are two types of access levels when editing Email Templates:
Global - editing templates from this level means changes will be global and applies to all companies within your organisation in Xemplo.
Company - editing templates from this level means changes will only apply to the specific company you are managing for.
Editing via Global Level
Log in as a Super Administrator.
- Click your profile name in the top-right corner, then select Settings (Administrator).
Select Message Templates.
- Locate the message template you want to update. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the template and select Edit.
- Update the message template as required. You can also use the Preview option to review how the message will appear.
- Once you’re happy with the changes, click Save.
Editing via Company Level
Log in as an Administrator.
Select Companies from the main menu.
- Search for and select the company you want to manage.
Select Message Templates.
- Locate the message template you want to update. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the template and select Edit.
- Update the message template as required. You can also use the Preview option to review how the message will appear.
- Once you’re happy with the changes, click Save.
| Important: Message templates can be managed at both the Global (Administrator) and Company levels. Regardless of where the template is edited first, the most recent changes will take precedence and be used for the email template. |
