When onboarding a worker to a position, you can add document requests that must be completed before an onboarding can be finalised. Document requests differ from the standard documents feature in the following ways:
- Document requests can include a template document that the worker must download before they can complete the request - for example, a medical form that the worker downloads, completes, and signs.
- Document requests are set up on an individual position only - and can differ from position to position.
- You can set up a document request so that either the manager, employee, or approver must complete it - unlike standard documents, you can specify that either the signing manager, the worker, or the approver of an onboarding must complete the request.
Adding a document request
To add or update a document request:
- Select a Position, the go to the Advanced tab > Request Document.
- On the Request document setup screen:
- Title the document.
- Specify which Onboarding participant needs to complete this request - this can be either the Signing Manager, the Worker/Employee, or the final Approver.
- You can optionally add a file to be downloaded and re-uploaded when completing the request.
- Add instructions - these are shown to the user assigned this activity during Onboarding.
To delete a Request Document from a position, select the document from the list on the Advanced tab, then select Remove.
