To remove a worker from the list of active workers for a company, the worker must be terminated. Terminating a worker will:
- Restrict the worker's Xemplo account - either immediately or from their termination date.
- Cancel outstanding tasks assigned to to the worker - including incomplete Letters, Expenses, Workflow, Onboarding, Tasks, Course enrolments, and Credential requests.
- Add an end date - to all positions and assignments from termination date.
- Send termination to external payroll (KeyPay).
Terminating a worker account
- Navigate to Workers.
- Select the relevant worker to view their profile.
- In the Worker Profile screen, click the menu option (...) in the upper right hand corner.
- Select Terminate Worker.
- Enter the Termination Date and Termination Reason. If it's a future termination date and you want to restrict employee access immediately, enable "Restrict Xemplo access immediately" and then click Save.
Once deactivated your worker will be marked with a red status to outline that they have been deactivated. They will also now appear in the disabled status listing on the worker summary screen.
To reactivate a worker or have accidentally deactivated them, you can enable the worker again, which grants them access to the system once more. This then moves the worker back into the Enabled status listing marked in green.
To cancel the termination scheduled for a future date, simply click the edit icon next to the Termination Date on the worker's profile, and then select Cancel Termination.
