Worker’s Bank Accounts are stored in Xemplo to pay their salaries or wages when processing their payroll.
In this article, we will focus on how you can manage Bank Account details for workers based in Hong Kong.
You can manage Bank Account details:
For a new worker:

During onboarding by the worker or a manager

Manual entry of the worker’s information by a company, and
-
Import of a worker from an external system, or
For an existing worker:

Update the worker profile on the worker dashboard in Xemplo, by the worker or a manager, or
-
Xemplo Mobile App by the worker
Important: The option for workers to change their bank account details in their worker dashboard can be enabled or disabled by Company Administrator. If the option is disabled, the manager will update the information on the worker’s behalf. |

How to Add Bank Details During Onboarding
Step 1. In the Bank Details section of the Onboarding process, enter the required Bank Details. If your employer allows it, you will be able to enter more than one bank account to distribute your payments to. Make sure all information is entered correctly.
Step 2. Click Continue onboarding.
How to Edit Worker Bank Details as a Manager
Both the worker and the manager can edit the bank details for an existing worker. Follow the steps below:
Step 1. Log in to Xemplo.
Step 2. In the left-hand navigation bar, click the Worker tab.
Step 3. Search for the worker you want to manage, and click their profile. Then, click the Payroll tab.
Step 5. Update the necessary Bank Details.
Step 6. Click Save.
How Workers Edit Their Own Bank Details
Step 1. Log in to Xemplo.
Step 2. On the right-hand corner of your dashboard, click the drop-down menu and click My Profile.
Step 3. Click Edit.
