How Xemplo Performance Works
Xemplo Performance empowers Company HR Managers to facilitate Performance Reviews for their workforce at every stage of the employment lifecycle.
Using a simple four-point rating scale (Needs development, Meets expectations, Exceeds expectations, Sets New Standard), the reviewer and reviewee, if included, are invited to grade the reviewee’s performance against the review criteria, which is auto populated from the Responsibilities and/or Skills section of the reviewee’s Xemplo assigned Position.
The reviewer assesses a reviewee’s performance against each of the responsibilities and/or skills associated with their role and indicates how effectively they’ve performed their assigned duties by providing a rating and a supporting comment. The Reviewee, if included in the review process, performs a self-assessment using the same format.
Once created, HR Managers can add reviewees to a Performance Review in bulk or individually, as required. All parties involved in a Performance Review will receive a notification to complete the review, as well as periodic reminders, issued every three days, until the review has been completed.
On completion of the Performance Review by both the reviewee (if included) and the reviewer, Xemplo will automatically derive an overall performance score based on the ratings provided for each item in the review.

The foundation of Xemplo Performance is Review Types. Every Performance Review is linked to a Review Type, providing a simple way to view review history for an individual and analyse individual, team and company-wide results for different types of performance monitoring activity.
Once review types are defined, you can create Performance Reviews for your team based on a review type. When creating a Performance Review based on a defined type, Xemplo will automatically populate all sections of the Performance Review for a reviewee based on the Responsibilities and / or Skills defined in worker's position.

Performance Reviews are automatically populated for an individual based on the responsibilities and skills associated with their position in Xemplo, delivering the following benefits:

Please note: If a worker does not have an assigned position or Manager, you will not be able to create a Performance Review for them. A manager can be assigned to a worker by navigating to Workers, selecting the workers profile and assigning a Reporting Manager. |

3. Add Performance Reviews

Once you've created review types and added responsibilities and skills to all positions in your organisation structure, you can create Performance Reviews for one or more team members at once from the HR > Performance screen.
Performance Reviews are created based on a selected type and will automatically populate all required information for an individual based on their role and the type of review being conducted.

Xemplo Performance includes comprehensive measurement and visualisation of both individual and team results. With Xemplo Performance, you can measure and track individual performance results and trends over time.
