With Xemplo Performance, you can effortlessly create performance reviews to track and measure workforce results. Xemplo Performance offers a flexible, user-friendly solution for targeted performance analysis and improvement.
How Xemplo Performance Works
Xemplo Performance allows HR Managers in a company to create Performance Reviews for their workforce. Performance Reviews can be completed by an individual and a reviewer (or by the reviewer only) to provide an assessment of the individual's performance based on their assigned position.
A Performance Review assesses individual worker performance based on:
- Their responsibilities - a list of all responsibilities derived from an individual's assigned position. A reviewer assessing an individual's performance for each of the responsibilities in their role indicates how effectively they can perform their assigned duties.
- Their skills - a list of all skills derived from an individual's assigned position. A reviewer assessing an individual's performance for each of the skills in their role can indicate whether the individual has sufficient skill to perform effectively in the role or requires further training in specific areas.
- Their set goals and objectives *coming soon - a list of all goals agreed upon for the worker. A reviewer assessing an individual's performance for each of their individually agreed-upon tasks indicates how well they are delivering on agreed-upon outcomes.
- Any custom questions added by the organisation to each performance review *coming soon - additional questions added to a Performance Review Type (for example, "How likely are you to recommend our organisation as a great place to work"). Both the individual and/or the reviewer can respond. Responses to additional questions are not rated and do not contribute to the overall score for a Performance Review.
Performance Reviews can be created by an authorised user in bulk or individually as required. Once created, all parties involved in a Performance Review will receive a notification to complete the review and periodic reminders until completion (every 3 days until completion).

When assessing performance, both the individual and the reviewer will provide a rating and a supporting comment for each responsibility or skill, along with an overall comment summarising the worker's performance.
On completion of the Performance Review by both the individual and their reviewer (or the reviewer only where the individual is not included), Xemplo will automatically derive an overall performance score based on the ratings provided for each item in the review.

1. Create review types
The foundation of Xemplo Performance is Review Types. Every Performance Review is linked to a Review Type, providing a simple way to view review history for an individual and analyse individual, team and company-wide results for different types of performance monitoring activity.
Once review types are defined, you can create Performance Reviews for your team based on a review type. When creating a Performance Review based on a defined type, Xemplo will automatically populate all sections of the Performance Review for an individual based on your configured rules and the worker's position.

2. Add responsibilities and skills to positions in your organisation structure
Performance Reviews are automatically populated for an individual based on the responsibilities and skills associated with their position in Xemplo, delivering the following benefits:
- Reduced administrative effort for your team - Xemplo creates customised, targeted performance reviews for each individual in your team automatically.
- Keeps performance reviews targeted to a common criteria for all workers in your team - while responsibilities and skills vary by role, all team members are evaluated using the same performance methodology to encourage constructive role-based feedback and eliminate bias. Please note: If a worker does not have an assigned position or Manager, you will not be able to create a Performance Review for them. |

3. Add Performance Reviews
Once you've created review types and added responsibilities and skills to all positions in your organisation structure, you can create Performance Reviews for one or more team members at once from the Workers or Performance screen.
Performance Reviews are created based on a selected type and will automatically populate all required information for an individual based on their role and the type of review being conducted.

4. Track performance review activity
Xemplo Performance includes comprehensive measurement and visualisation of both individual and team results. With Xemplo Performance, you can measure and track:
- Individual performance results and trends over time;
- Company-wide performance and variance over time; *coming soon
