Xemplo places restrictions on access and updates to sensitive personal information throughout Xemplo. Access controls apply to specific data types and users.

Worker Email Address
A worker's primary email address (the email address used for their Xemplo account) can only be updated by an authorised HR user via the Worker Profile screen.
Workers are unable to update their own primary email address. Find out more about updating email addresses here.
Worker Tax File Number (Australia only)
A Worker's Tax File Number can only be entered by the worker (or an authorised HR user on their behalf) and reviewed by an authorised HR user once, following which it cannot be updated by any user.

A Worker's National Insurance Number can only be entered by the worker (or an authorised HR user on their behalf) and reviewed by an authorised HR user once, following which it cannot be updated by any user.

A Worker's National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) can only be entered by the worker (or an authorised HR user on their behalf) and reviewed by an authorised HR user once, following which it cannot be updated by any user.

Worker Bank Details
An authorised HR user can optionally restrict the ability to update worker banking information via the Worker Profile (accessed from Workers > Payroll). Once restricted, workers can view their banking information but cannot update.
