If you need to add in a timesheet that has been cancelled or had incorrect dates outlined, but still is attached to an active assignment, you are able to quickly add in an ad-hoc timesheet.
As outlined above, adding in a timesheet can present duplicate timesheets, so you must ensure that you are creating a timesheet for the correct reason.
-
It's always best to search for the candidate's name in the timesheets screen by specific dates using the filters at the top of the page to ensure that you are creating correctly.
-
When a change is made to an assignment, for example, an assignment end date has been extended, you must wait for this to automatically create the next timesheet rather than creating this manually yourself as this would cause duplication and confusion for the candidates. The automatic creation can take a few minutes.
-
If the candidate has submitted a timesheet without including all hours or if there should have been expenses items to be added, for example, you are able to create the ad hoc timesheet for them to complete those dates that they have missed rather than starting again.
To create an Ad hoc timesheet, navigate to:
Timesheets → Timesheets
Click the ‘New Timesheet’ button at the top right-hand side of the page. A pop-up form for a new timesheet will appear and you can incorporate the following fields to add the timesheet.
Candidate: Select the candidate you need to create the timesheet for.
Assignment: Ensure you select the assignment correctly. A candidate could have multiple assignments at different clients so you must be confident in the selection you are making.
Assignment Start: This is referring to the date you would like the timesheet that you are creating to start (ad-hoc timesheet start)
Assignment End: This is referring to the date you would like the timesheet that you are creating to end (ad-hoc timesheet end)
Once this has been completed the timesheet will then sit in the timesheet listing as a pending timesheet and the candidate will be able to view this immediately.
