About the feature
We have introduced improvements to the way invoice and RCTI email delivery statuses are displayed in Xemplo. In addition to the existing statuses "Email not yet sent" and "Email sent" (displayed when hovering over the email icon on the RCTI and Agency to Host Invoice screens), we have added a new status, "Queued for Sending".
This update addresses feedback from users who found it difficult to determine whether emails had been successfully sent, particularly when sending large volumes in bulk. This sometimes prompted users to re-send emails unnecessarily, causing confusion for senders and recipients.
To improve visibility and reduce the likelihood of duplicate sends, a new email status called "Queued for Sending" has been introduced. When sending large volumes of invoices or RCTIs in bulk, you will now see an orange email icon indicating that the email has been queued for sending. This confirms that the email has been successfully added to the sending queue, and no further action is required.
As emails are processed and sent, the icon will automatically update to blue, indicating that the email has been successfully delivered.
Refreshing the page or navigating between tabs will update the latest email send statuses, allowing you to easily monitor progress when sending large batches of invoices or RCTIs.
This is the first step in a series of improvements aimed at enhancing email deliverability and providing clearer visibility into email sending activity.

This feature is available to customers using Invoices and RCTIs within Xemplo.
Getting started
Understanding the queued email status
When sending invoices or RCTIs in bulk, dependant on volume, emails may not always send instantly. Instead, they are processed in the batches to ensure reliable delivery.
After initiating a bulk send, you may notice an orange email icon appear next to the relevant invoice or RCTI. Hover over the orange email icon to view the status message "Queued for sending".
This confirms the email has been scheduled to send and no further action is required.
Email sent status
As emails are processed, the email icon will automatically update from orange to blue.
A blue email icon confirms that the email has been successfully sent to the recipient.
Refreshing email statuses
Whilst the email queue is processed, the page will automatically update each email status as it is processed. If you would like to see the most up-to-date send status, you can refresh the page or navigate to another tab and return.
Refreshing the page will retrieve the latest status of invoices or RCTIs currently being processed and sent.
