Xemplo's Contract Management features enable customers to create, manage, and store employment contracts in a company's Contract Library.
You can create contracts in Xemplo in two ways:
- Using Xemplo's Contract Builder feature - create, manage, and store legally compliant employment contracts across supported international regions. Contracts built using Xemplo's Contract Builder offer ongoing legal compliance with automated updates and alerts from our Employment Law Team when contract requirements change.
- By importing your own contract document - Xemplo also supports configuring your own custom contract with intuitive import features and the ability to merge key worker information. Custom contracts are suitable for businesses who retain their own legal experts to ensure ongoing compliance.
Once you've created your library of contracts, you can then start issuing contracts from Xemplo, either when Onboarding a Worker or by issuing a contract to a Worker directly from their Worker Profile.

For customers in the staffing and recruitment industry, the Contract Management feature includes additional options tailored to the unique requirements of agency-hired workers and labour hire arrangements. These options support the inclusion of terms relevant to assignment-based roles, such as host employer details, placement durations, pay classifications, and award or agreement references. This ensures contracts reflect the specific conditions of contingent or temporary employment, while maintaining compliance with regional labour hire legislation and industry standards.

For customers who prefer to use their own contract templates, Xemplo's Contract Management tools support the import of custom contracts from Word documents. Users can apply merge fields to automatically populate key worker details and company information, streamlining the process of generating personalised contracts at scale.
While importing contracts offers flexibility for businesses with established contract formats, we recommend using the Contract Builder feature where available, as it provides templates designed to meet regional legal standards. Customers choosing to upload their own contracts should ensure the content has been reviewed by legal counsel to confirm compliance with applicable employment laws.
